Nobody should be locked inside where the sunshine doesn’t reach.
One Day at Araha Beach
Araha Beach in Okinawa island (Japan) has two sacred spots of dragons on both the north and south sides of the beach.
I draw the dragon’s appearances as time goes on one sunny day.
LEFT: Mornig. Clouds are born as the sun heat the ocean.
CENTER: Afternoon. The cloud got energy and moved lively like a sacred sky creature.
RIGHT: Early evening. It separated into some pieces, receiving the sunset’s soft light. People who had enjoyed the beach was getting their way back to their home.

When camouflage and clouds, two things with no meaning, came together, I was amazed at the power of the painting and the message it created for the viewers.
