The line is partly under the green part of the camo, so that the clouds and camo patterns are seen layered.
When I finished this piece I thought I played with image too much, though I’m using cloths that someone wore for his life.
But my friend told me that it totally represent the portlait of Okinawa island. Really complex, though accepting and playful. So I could think it’s done. Further I choose this as main visual of my first big exhibition in a public gallery in Prefestual Museum & Art Museum in 2024.
Camouflage and Cloud
When two meaningless are layered.
Clouds don’t have meanings.
And camouflage neither.
When camouflage and clouds are layered, viewers find messages that differ each.
